The report highlights:
We are delighted to share the report of our most recent Ofsted inspection. The Ofsted visit itself was an 'ungraded' inspection, where the Inspectors determine whether the school has 'maintained the current standards' (I.e. retained the Outstanding judgement) or has not maintained the current standards.
The Inspectors deemed that Worlingworth has 'maintained the current standards' and therefore we retain our Outstanding judgment. Very few schools achieve this, as Ofsted become more and more challenging. The inspectors noted that Worlingworth is a school that continually seeks to improve and develop- and it has come on in leaps and bounds since the last inspection.
The inspectors described our school as a 'very special and unique little place-a small school, with big ambitions'- a statement we whole heartedly agree with! We are particularly proud of how the inspectors identified the way in which our vision and Rainbow Values permeate everything about our school life; including our unique curriculum.
During the inspection, the Governors, and senior leaders were given more detailed feedback and this included:
- ‘Children in Early Years have strong learning skills, with perseverance and co-operation.’
- ‘Children across the school have extremely positive attitudes, children interact, pay attention and know they need to join in. Children are not passive. Classrooms are quiet, but active and interactive. Children are engaged, interested and eager to learn’.
- ‘Children flourish in this school’.
- ‘All children received what they need to be successful in life.’
- ‘The school has improved since the previous inspection.’
- ‘Children are cherished- known, valued and understood’
- ‘High ambitions from all children’
- ‘Culture of positive praise and celebrations’
Ofsted also found that the progress our children make is very impressive, including for those with SEND. They described our curriculum as completely personalised and developed to meet the needs of the children. A curriculum for life, supporting the children to develop lifelong skills.
Three, consecutive Outstanding judgements (2016, 2019 and 2025) is incredibly rare and a mark of how hard our exceptionally talented staff team works to ensure your children receive a great, all-round education.
