Ofsted
Our most recent Ofsted Inspection was June 2019. The inspector, Tessa Holledge, made the following judgements:
Overall effectiveness of the school: Outstanding
Effectiveness of leadership and management: | Outstanding |
Quality of teaching, learning and assessment: | Outstanding |
Personal development, behaviour and welfare: | Outstanding |
Outcomes for pupils: | Outstanding |
Early years provision: | Outstanding |
The report highlights:
This grading reflects the hard work and commitment from the staff, governors, parents and pupils in continuing to make Worlingworth the great school that we know it is!
The report highlights:
“Leaders have continued to provide excellent provision for all pupils since the previous inspection”
“Staff work very closely together and there is a real sense of family. All adults know every pupil as an individual and, equally, all pupils know each other well.”
“Pupils are highly supportive of each other.”
“Pupils… make excellent progress in reading, writing and mathematics that is sustained over time. This is because of the outstanding teaching they receive”
“Children in the early years receive an exceptional start to their education and make excellent progress.”
We are obviously very pleased to receive a second Outstanding judgement, and currently it is highly unusual for schools to receive two consecutive Outstanding judgements.
